Label Guide
Reading A Gummy Supplement Label
A Supplement Facts panel is the most useful part of any bottle. Here is how to read it.
Serving size
Every amount refers to one serving, which may be more than one gummy.
Amounts, not just names
Each active ingredient should have an amount. A list of names alone tells you little about dose.
Other ingredients
Gummies often contain sugar or sugar alcohols and a gelling agent such as pectin or gelatin. Sugar alcohols can loosen stools.
Allergens and diet
Check for gelatin, gluten, soy and other allergens.
When the panel is missing
Without a panel you cannot check dose, allergens or interactions. That is our situation with Renew31. See the ingredients page.
